NTS Scams Team helps ICO tackle nuisance calls

The NTS Scams Team has provided intelligence and investigative assistance to the Information Commissioners Office as part of a wider crackdown on rogue companies using pressurised sales techniques to sell insurance for white goods. The ICO has issued fines of half a million pounds against five companies making these nuisance calls to elderly and vulnerable consumers.
